Dear Colleague, As you are a past user of the DL_MESO mesoscale simulation package I am sending you this email to announce the release of version 2.3 of DL_MESO. The new version contains serial and parallel versions of a Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) code written in Fortran90 and a Lattice Boltzmann Equation (LBE) code written in C++, with an optional GUI written in Java. Improvements in the DPD code over the previous version include non-cubic orthorhombic systems, particle trajectories, user-specified conservative interaction parameters and molecular systems by modelling bonds between particles. Improvements in the LBE code include a greater choice of output file formats and miscellaneous bug fixes. The new package is still free to academic users.
