Visit to UK by Dr John Shelley

October 31 - November 13 2004

Dr John Shelley Schrödinger Inc., Portland, USA visited the UK as part of the CCP5 visitor program. He visited King's College London, Oxford, Cambridge and Daresbury.

Dr Shelley has extensive experience of molecular simulations of a variety of systems of chemical, pharmaceutical and biological interest. He did his PhD in the Chemistry Dept at University of Pennsylvania with Prof. Mike Klein, and subsequently worked on research projects as a post-doc with Prof. Gren Patey at the University of British Columbia. He then worked as a research scientist at Procter & Gamble before joining Schrödinger Inc.
