CCP5 Annual Conference
The
conference that you are attending is at Keele Conference Park, which
is part of Keele University. To follow you will find some useful
information about the venue and the conference you are attending.
Arrival Point / Registration
Main
conference registration will take place Tuesday 30th
August, 17.00 - 19.00, in Chancellors Building foyer (M5 on
attached visitor guide). Bedroom keys can be collected from
Chancellors reception from 14.00 Tuesday up until 19.00 after which
time they will be available from 24-hour reception, Darwin Building.

Parking
We
recommend that when you arrive you park at Chancellors
Building Car Park C (N5 on attached visitor guide), there is also
parking available at the accommodation areas. Parking permits will be
issued during registration and these must be completed and
displayed for the duration of your stay on the University campus.
Please note that a wheel-clamping scheme is in operation for any
unauthorised parking.
Accommodation
You
will be staying at Lindsay Court (K9 on attached visitor guide).
Bedrooms can be accessed after 14.00 on Tuesday 30th
August. Bedrooms are all single study rooms with en suite facilities.
All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a
telephone, which operates via a key-com card system. These cards can
be purchased from either Chancellors Building or Darwin Receptions.
Please note bedrooms do not have hairdryers, TV’s or alarm clocks.
On the day of departure, bedrooms must be vacated by 09.30. Luggage
can be stored in a room (CBA0.001) if required, please ask at
Chancellors Building reception. Keys are to be deposited on departure
in key return boxes, which will be located in both the halls of
residences reception areas and breakfast restaurants.
Main
meeting area locations
Your conference sessions will be
based in Chancellors Building CBA1.098.
Catering
areas
Wednesday
and Thursday dinner will be buffet style in Comus Restaurant,
Chancellors Building at 19.00. After dinner, Union Square will be
open for drinks if required (O7 on attached visitor guides)
Friday’s
conference dinner will be at Keele Hall with a drinks reception
starting at 19.00 (O9 on attached visitor guide)
Please
advise your event organiser of any special dietary requirements,
which the chefs at Keele will be happy to cater for.
General
Campus Facilities
You
will find a range of facilities on the University campus including
Natwest bank, Lloyds TSB and Co-operative bank cash dispensers, A
Post Office in the Student Union, Waterstones Bookshop, Leisure
Centre, a Laundrette, a Supermarket and a multi - denominational
chapel.
