Section 2
Lectures.
The (provisional) programme
of talks is now abailable.
For the Speakers:
Plenary lectures have been allotted 1 hour (e.g.,50 minutes for the lecture
+ 10 minutes for questions). Contributed talks have been allotted 1/2 hour.
(e.g., 25 minutes for the lecture + 5 minutes for questions)
PROJECTION FACILITIES:
The following will be available:
-
Overhead (`acetate') projector.
-
35mm slide projector.
-
Laptop data projector.
If you are bringing a laptop-based presentation,
we will assume that you are also bringing your laptop as well!
(Please let me know as soon as possible if this is going
to cause a problem for you.)
As laptop presentations can be rather temperamental,
we strongly recommend that you bring a back-up version
of your talk on overheads (acetates).
The programme is rather packed, so we cannot afford
to delay too long if we have a problem with the laptop
projection method!
Also, please let me know if you want to show a video, and what
format the video is in.
(I was not planning to provide a video player and
monitor , unless specifically requested.)
