CCP5 Mailing List
CCP5 maintains 3 lists of members; the UK, Europe and the rest
of the world.
Information is distributed by Email to these lists.
Your name will be added to the appropriate mailing list
when you register.
You may be asked by Email to confirm the details of your
registration, if you are asked for a confirmation
you will not receive any mailings from CCP5 until
we receive the confirmation.
Your name will not be added immediately to the
mailing list but you should receive a confirmation Email
within 10 days of your registration.
If you are not receiving any Emails from CCP5
Members should be aware that the mailing list software
at Daresbury adds a large number of headers to the beginning
of the Email.
Some people cannot receive Email from CCP5 because their
sites reject Emails based on the number of headers.
We regret that CCP5 will be unable to send Emails
to these sites.
This may also be a problem if you move to another
location and use forwarding from your old location.
It is preferable to reregister in this case.
VACANCIES
CCP5 will advertise vacancies in the general area of computer simulation of
condensed matter.
If you have such a vacancy, please send the details by Email to
ccp5-admin@dl.ac.uk .

It is also helpful to indicate if there are any residence or nationality
restrictions.
Vacancies are sent to the mailing list in batches, so there may be
a delay of a few days between you submitting the request and the
request being advertised. This delay will not normally be longer
than one week. Please indicate when you submit your request if it
is urgent.
CCP5 will only send out messages as ASCII text and this is our
preferred format for receiving messages. Requests may be submitted
as MSWORD documents but will be converted before being sent.
MEETINGS
CCP5 will also advertise meetings, conferences and workshops in the
general area of computer simulation of condensed matter.
If you would like to advertise a meeting, please send the details by
Email to ccp5-admin@dl.ac.uk .
Please indicate if you want the email sent to just one or two of the
mailing lists, if the meeting is only of local interest.
