Introduction to MPI


This is a three days course (9am - 5pm) on Introduction to MPI for parallel distributed programming. 

Two mornings of lectures with afternoons and the third day allocated to practical exercises.

  • Messages and point to point communication
  • Non-blocking communication
  • Collective communication
  • Derived data types
  • Virtual topologies (subject to time)
