This year's annual meeting will be based broadly on the CCP5 theme of condensed phase simulation. However, to mark the imminent retirement of Bill Smith, who has been one of CCP5's guiding figures throughout its existence, there will be some focus on the areas to which he has made particular contributions. These include parallel Molecular Dynamics simulations (particularly DL_POLY), methodological developments in condensed phase simulation and mesoscale simulations.

We look forward to welcoming all those working on molecular and mesoscale simulation to Sheffield - accommodation and conferences sessions will both be in nice new buildings - and are particularly keen to see contributions from younger researchers (both oral and poster).

Details of invited speakers and the (on-line) registration process will be available from the CCP5 website once they have been finalised.

Note, though, that the deadline for early registration will be fixed at 30th July 2010 - unfortunately we will not be able guarantee availability of accommodation for anyone registering after that date.
