Eligibility

Applications are welcome from students of any academic institution on a world wide basis. However the potential students must hold a degree in a relevant scientific subject and must be commencing study or research at a higher level in a subject area in which molecular simulation is expected to feature as an integral part. The ideal student will be at least six months into studying for a doctorate, but no later than two years after commencement of study.

The student is required to have a significant working knowledge of at least one of the following modern computing languages: FORTRAN 77, FORTRAN 90, C. A working knowledge of UNIX is essential and some familiarity with PC Linux will be helpful.
